Seattle-based AdReady, which offers cheap templates for internet display ads, has raised a $10 million round from Bain Capital, Khosla Ventures and previous backer Madrona Venture Group, reports Seattle PI. Madrona previously invested $2 million in the company, bringing its total amount raised to $12 million. AdReady has a collection of over 600 pre-made display ads that can be easily customized for a range of advertisers, reducing the amount spent on creative. The concept is similar to what Spot Runner is doing for TV ads. Founders Aaron Finn, Eric Kolve and Dave Sliwa were all formerly at Classmates.com. Funding will go towards hiring more employees and expanding its marketing budget.
