Swedish Newspapers Launches Branded Mobile Phone For Easy Access To Its Site

Seems like a rather roundabout way of trying people to read their news: Sweden’s Dagens Nyheter newspaper has launched a mobile phone offering the daily’s subscribers direct and free access to its website. DN subscribers can purchase the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) 6120 phone on the paper’s website, and by signing up for a 199-kronor ($31) monthly call plan can freely surf the daily’s website by simply hitting a special “DN” button, reports AFP.
