MyStrands Closes $24 Million Funding Round

MyStrands has pulled in $24 million in its “Series B2″ round of funding — back in June it closed $25 million in its second round of funding, but it seems MyStrands doesn’t want to call this round 3. Anyway… Spanish bank BBVA led the latest round and was joined by existing investor Debaeque. This brings the total investment in MyStrands to $55 milllion. MyStrands has a scalable personalized discovery platform and a social recommender engine, which provides real-time personalized recommendations of products and services through computers, mobile phones, and other Internet-connected devices.
