Reston, VA-based Avail Media, a provider of IPTV services to broadband operators, has added $8 million to its second round, which started earlier this year. The round is now complete at $25 million, with participation from new investor Valhalla Partners and previous backers Columbia Capital, Novak Biddle Venture Partners, and Pioneer Ventures. In addition, the company took in $5 million in debt financing from an unidentified strategic investor and Silicon Valley Bank. The company did an unspecified first round in 2004, when it was known as Broadstream Communications.
