Smartphone and Pocket PC Magazine again chose the best mobile device software as they do each year; the full listing is available on their site. You can browse the finalists and winners by software category, so if you’re been hunting for specific functionality and want to see the best of the best, now’s your chance. I was a little bummed out to see that MobiPocket beat out eReader, which is my personal favorite book reader, but that’s probably because I just bought Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” series for my eReader on my UMPC last night. [Wirelessly, just like the Kindle. ;) ]As they do annually, Smartphone and Pocket PC Magazine offer different packages of the winning software at steep discounts, so if you’re interested in the investment, you can find the details right here.
