Qualcomm’s (NSDQ: QCOM) court case against Nokia (NYSE: NOK) in the UK in the High Court was due to start on Monday, with Qualcomm seeking an injunction that would stop Nokia selling products in the UK which Qualcomm claims infringe its GSM patents, reports Reuters. “Nokia is confident the facts and the evidence presented at trial will clearly and definitively demonstrate that Qualcomm’s alleged GSM patents are invalid and not infringed,” Nokia spokeswoman Anne Eckert said. Qualcomm has also filed suit in the US, Germany, France, Italy and China, and of course Nokia has its own lawsuits against Qualcomm.
