This is “Black Friday” in the States – the traditional day of post-Thanksgiving mall deal madness that opens the Christmas shopping season. And according to The Conference Board, consumers are in “a festive mood” for this holiday season, planning to drop an average of nearly five hundred dollars each on their gift-giving this year.

A more ergonomic headset? The latest downloadable music subscription? Here’s your chance to help us play Santa: if you’re giving, how are you planning to spend your holiday dollars on the family web worker? And if you’re receiving, what are you secretly (or not so secretly) hoping to get in your stocking this year?
