Here’s a Friday footnote to this week’s kerfuffle where UK digital media consultancy Broadsight grumbled about having its Facebook profile deleted while the social network meanwhile launched its own social advertising profile platform for paying clients. Facebook contacted us to clarify profiles are for people, not companies, but said that’s nothing to do with the new ad platform, which lets users become “fans” of more than 60 brands including Coca-Cola.
