Vivendi (EPA: VIV) is making some big moves into the mobile content market, both as an operator and as a content producer. French mobile operator SFR (a JV between Vivendi and Vodafone) is launching a new service dubbed Illimythics which will offer a range of tariffs bundling voice minutes with unlimited data access. The service has received a bit of criticism on two counts, reports Telecommunications Online. First, the terms and conditions are complicated — not all types of browsing and data usage is unlimited — and second, the price of each plan will rise by 10 euros after the first 24 months of the contract.
