MacBook enthusiasts have been asking for a 13-inch version of the Apple notebook and Apple Insider is now teasing them with the inside information that Apple will be announcing the littlest MacBook at MacWorld in January. The rumor has Apple dropping the optical drive to make room for everything else in such a small form and that they will be dropping NAND flash memory in a MacBook for the first time. This rumor may be credible as Apple needs something big (or in this case little) to drop on the MacWorld crowd and barring a v2 iPhone this would do it.
