Adult-content company Private Media Group has reported that it earned 7.5 million euros (US$10.9 million) in the third quarter of this year, and made 0.5 million euros (US$0.73 million) net profit. Mobile sales increased by 19 percent to 0.7 million euros (US$1 million), about half of the revenue Private received from internet sales. According to CFO Johan Gillborg Private content was available to over 783 million handsets in 34 countries via 81 operators, of which 21 operators went live during 2007. Mobile TV, increased penetration of 3G handsets and the implementation of age verification systems are seen to offer additional growth potential. (release)
