Now that AOL (NYSE: TWX) has bought online ad provider Quigo (PaidContent) some are looking to the mobile space for the next round of acquisitions. “Quigo was one of the few remaining strong and growing large networks,” said Bob Davis, managing general partner at venture firm Highland Capital Partners. “I think there is another wave coming as it relates to networks on the mobile front” according to Reuters. Davis thinks the push by Google (NSDQ: GOOG) into the mobile space will focus even more attention on the market, and that there’s a wave of companies just getting of the ground in the mobile arena…he’s gone with Quattro.
