Content delivery network Limelight (NSDQ: LLNW) reported Q3 revenues of $29.2 million, 67 percent higher than last year’s $17.5 million. The company’s losses expanded to $3.1 million in the quarter from $1.4 million; excluding share-based compensation, legal expenses and certain deferred items, the company turned a profit of $2.3 million. Share-based compensation continues to take a big toll on Limelight’s bottom line, even as the core business continues to grow. The company attributes its growth to strong performance across all sectors, including online video, music, games, software, and social media.
