CBS Mobile Launches Original Animated Mobile Series

CBS (NYSE: CBS) Mobile has announced its plans for its first original animated program: Danny Bonaduce: Life Coach (Bonaduce was in The Partridge Family). The 3-5 minute episodes will be voiced by Danny Bonaduce, and from the release it sounds like there will be 8 to begin with and new episodes every two weeks. The satirical series involves Bonaduce giving advice to celebrities, which apparently results in the breakdowns that you see in the goss mags, and new episodes will seek the most recent celebrity meltdown for inspiration. Also, fans of the series will be able to sign up for regular life coaching and receive “offbeat, comedic messages — directly from the “Life Coach” himself, about how to “get it together”. There’ll also be an online Life Coach Widget where people can share live video with others and interact through file sharing, texting, blogging, polling and comments. You can download the trailer here.
