Google (NSDQ: GOOG) will announce its mobile plans on Monday, reports the Wall Street Journal citing anonymous sources. T-Mobile and Sprint (NYSE: S) are touted as launch partners, with Sprint planning to launch phones with Google’s Linux-based mobile OS and T-Mobile gearing up to launch a fully-fledged Google phone — if that happens it means that both rumors of the past six months would have been true. In its conference call Sprint wouldn’t say if it was in talks with Google, but did say that Google’s position on openness suited Sprint’s philosophy.
