– Saga Zone: Saga, the insurance and holiday company, has launched a social networking Web site, Saga Zone, aimed at seniors, writes Dianne See Morrison. After four months in beta mode, the site has already signed on 13,000 members or “Zoners”, as they are called. Much like other social networking sites, Saga Zone allows subscribers to add their own detailed profiles, write a blog, or discuss any number of topics in its forums.
