OK, I’m sure that the Mobile Fitting service used in Japan has much more functionality than my approach and doesn’t require physical frames, but I claim ‘dibs’. An eyewear store is now using mobile phone software that allows customers to try different eyeglasses virtually. It’s a great idea because I can’t tell you how many times, I’ve tried frames on but of course, couldn’t see how good or bad they looked. Expecting folks with poor vision to make a visual choice on their appearance is just plain silly and that’s why I took photos of myself with different frames on my mobile. Vision or not, I have no taste, so I shot the pics to Barb. After all, she’s the one that has to look at me all day. ;)
