Kevin is determined to get Google Docs working on his iPhone and an announcement today by Etelos may make that a reality for him soon. Etelos today has launched the Etelos Server for Google Apps which makes it a breeze for developers to get their apps which work with Google Docs to the starving public quickly. This should result in a lot more apps available soon for Google Apps users and further their integration into Web 2.0.
Etelos also announced something that’s got me pretty excited, Etelos Projects for Google Apps, a full-featured project management program to integrate with Google Apps. From the Etelos press release:
"Etelos is delighted to provide developers with the Etelos Server for Google Apps," Etelos Founder & CTO Danny Kolke said. "This development platform shortens developers’ time to market by allowing Google Apps developers direct access to the Etelos Marketplace – giving them more time to focus on innovating the next great application. Using our own platform has allowed us to release our second major base application that works with Google Apps in record time."
Etelos Projects for Google Apps gives users an intuitive interface for managing complex projects and their teams. With time logging, advanced reporting, automated messaging and task management functionality, Etelos Projects is fully integrated with the Etelos CRM for Google Apps product. These two Etelos products extend the number of enterprise applications that work with Google Apps.
