It’s earnings day for Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) so time for a batch of announcements meant to show progress … The company has new multi-year ad deals with WebMD, Cars.com, Forbes.com and Ziff-Davis Media. Some details:
WebMD: The more complex of the deals covering search and display. Yahoo will power search across WebMD’s consumer network and will be the “only significant online health publisher” with reach across Yahoo’s properties. If WebMD (NSDQ: WBMD) opts to sell inventory through a third-party ad net, Yahoo “will have the opportunity to extend its advanced advertising products across the WebMD network of consumer sites on competitive terms.”
Release.
Yahoo Publishers Network: Cars.com, Forbes.com and Ziff-Davis Media are the latest additions to YPN.
The Forbes.com deal includes display inventory across Yahoo’s network and some Forbes.com display inventory as part of Yahoo Finance’s ad package. Forbes.com will continue standalone sales, too. (Disclosure: Yahoo Finance and Forbes.com are among our syndicators.) Release.
