Not that any of these companies are burning the charts with their performance, but interesting nonetheless: MeeVee, an online TV Guide of sorts, has bought another start-up, Top 10 Sources, a network of sites about, well, hot topics. Price was not disclosed.
The idea is MeeVee will use it to revamp its own website. MeeVee says it will integrate Top Ten Sources into its own service, in order to let users “find and comment on what they are looking for when they want it.”
The company laid off 20 percent of its workforce this summer, and raised $3.5 million after that, reports Venturebeat. In total, MeeVee has raised at least $23.5 million. More in the release here.
