– Indiantelevision.com reports Denmark-based Zodiak Television has agreed to acquire 35 per cent stake in Indian production house Sol. – BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), has decided to launch its DVDs in India, probably through a tie up with music company Saregama and has plans of launching its new website for international markets.
BBC.com and video clip service, Kangaroo, would be advertiser-funded and will soon cater to international consumers as well.
— Entertainment-focused channel ZoomTV has revamped its Web site to offer clippings from its shows to visitors, according to this Indiantelevision.com report.
Zoom, which is already available on mobile via IdeaTV, also plans to expand its content packages through mobile platforms.
