Eros Strikes Content Licensing Deals With South-East-Asian Companies

London-listed Bollywood film producer Eros International Plc.’s new media unit has signed content licensing deals with leading telecom and on-demand service providers in South East Asia. [via glamsham.com]

The company will be licensing 50 Bollywood films over a period of three years for Mauritius Telecom’s Video on Demand (VOD) service on their IPTV platform and is also set to license content for Singapore-based telecom group SingNet Pte Ltd.’s VOD and subscription VOD service in Singapore.

Eros has also signed a deal with Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) to license Bollywood films for telecast on RTM channel via free television in Malaysia.
