Veronis Suhler Stevenson Buys Marketing Solutions Provider Tranzact For $185 Million

Media private-equity firm Veronis Suhler Stevenson is in the process of purchasing sales and marketing solutions provider Tranzact for $185 million in cash. The acquisition comes a few weeks after VSS bought a majority stake in career information site Vault.com.

Fort Lee, NJ-based Tranzact works with Fortune 1000 companies in the financial services and communications industries to build their customer base. VSS is buying the company from Halyard Capital and plans to keep its senior management in place. Release
