Email marketer Zustek has hired Al DiGuido as CEO and his immediate focus will be on acquisitions designed to expand the company’s online advertising expertise. Some of the areas DiGuido is targeting include search engine optimization and search engine management, along with media planning and buying, creative, strategic analysis, site development and CRM, according to ClickZ.
Email marketing vet DiGuido was ousted as CEO of Epsilon Interactive in a reorg last year. By increasing Zustek’s array of services so widely, DiGuido, who will work from New York, told ClickZ the Garden Grove, CA-based company wants to position itself as a “general contractor,” attracting business by convincing clients that they don’t need to hire several different agencies for their online advertising needs. Zustek itself was bought last month by Investcorp Technology Partners, a PE firm. Zustek is relying on Investcorp’s deep pockets to fund its planned acquisitions. Release
