This is the bad news everyone wants…DoCoMo (NYSE: DCM) has said that the rate of growth of its 3G user base will slow down because “fully three-quarters of its subscriber base has already adopted the new mobile technology”. The company had “more than 40 million 3G mobile phone services subscribers by the end of September, up from 30 million last November. The company said it’s on track to have 44.42 million subscribers by the March 31 end of the current fiscal year” reports EasyBourse.
