New landline & cellular bundles from Verizon

VerizonlogoI just love it when one post segues into another. Actually, I just like to say the word ‘segue’, but that’s not important right now. What is important is that Verizon customers can now subscribe to a single plan that includes both their landline and their wireless. I thought they could already do that, but maybe I’m confusing this with the One-Bill approach. Here’s the plan:

For $59.99 a month, you get the semi-skimpy Verizon Freedom Value plan for the wire and 200 wireless minutes plus unlimited in-network and mobile to home calling. If you gab with the family a bunch, this might be worth a look. Need more wireless minutes or additional landline services? $15 a month boosts you to the Verizon Freedom Essentials with Caller ID, Call Waiting and Voice Mail. It also brings your wireless minutes to 450 and adds unlimited nights and weekends. After your first few bills, you could test your savings with Validas, hence the segue…maybe we need a day where every post relates to the prior post in some fashion; we’ll call it the Mobile Tech Train or something…
