O2, Telefonica Add Yahoo’s oneSearch, Flickr, Mail To Mobile Portals: The mobile portal for O2 in the UK and Ireland will add Yahoo’s (NSDQ: YHOO) oneSearch offering as its web search service of choice, thanks to a deal with parent Telefonica (NYSE: TEF). It’s a win for Yahoo over rivals like Google (NSDQ: GOOG) and other white-label mobile search providers. The partnership will give both companies a share of mobile search advertising revenue.
