The European Commission will look into allegations by Nokia (NYSE: NOK), Ericsson (NSDQ: ERIC), Broadcom, NEC and Panasonic that Qualcomm (NSDQ: QCOM) has “violated European Union rules by charging disproportionate and discriminatory royalties for use of its W-CDMA patents and attempting to exclude competing vendors from the market”, reports RCR News.
