I’m not sure when music streaming was added to the Gizmo Project, but according to the company, you can stream one of nine "radio stations" through the voice over Internet application. If you type the name of a "station" and hit your call button, the client will stream the music. Your choices include: Pop, Rock, Country, ClassicRock, Alternative, Electronica, International, NPR, and TalkRadio.
I tried a few stations this morning but it took about 30 seconds before I heard anything. Even when I did, it was choppy: a second of music followed by a few seconds of silence. Trust me: if you don’t like Kenny Rogers, I found that you’ll like him even less with the stuttering. Heavy server load perhaps? Although I didn’t try it, I suspect this will work on the mobile Gizmo clients as well since you’re essentially calling a contact.
