San Francisco-based Mashery, a startup doing web applications mashups, has raised a second round of funding led by Formative Ventures, along with the Accelerator Group and previous investor First Round Capital. Terms were undisclosed, although VentureBeat reports that the company raised somewhere less than $5 million. The company previously did a “mid-six figures” round last summer. Mashery plans to use the capital for product development and to increase sales and marketing support. Release.
