– Mobile auction-game company Limbo has hired Dave Oberholzer as vice president of corporate development where he will help build the company’s mobile entertainment and advertising products. Oberholzer was previously at Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless, where he led the direct-to-consumer data business handling downloads of ringtones, images and video, as well as the hit Deal or No Deal. Before that he was director of carrier services at InphoMatch, an inter-carrier messaging vendor. He has also been the chairman of the Mobile Marketing Association’s Consumer Best Practices Committee.
— Hispanic-focused MVNO Movida has hired Michael Robinson as CEO. Previously Robinson was the president of Motricity’s Mobile Content Solutions Group (MCSG), and before that he worked at Sprint (NYSE: S) as senior vice president of product realization. Last month Movida raised $40 million in funding. (release)
— MINO Wireless has hired Bathsheba Malsheen as its new CEO. Malsheen was previously at Groove Mobile where she was CEO from 2004 to 2006. (BizJournals)
