NineMSN Banking On Mobile Advertising For Growth

Tony Faure, the CEO of NineMSN (the Australian JV between Microsoft and Channel 9) has predicted that “snackable” mobile content would quickly develop into a significant growth generator within a year. The company recently launched an ad-supported mobile content service dubbed Mobilise. “He said packaged goods and other advertisers whose brands had a personal connection with consumers would take to mobile more quickly than they took to the internet…”Our mobile division would be profitable now,” Mr Faure said. “Mobile advertising, I think, is just going to be one of those things that just (takes off) one day (within) a year or two” reports Australian IT.
