Oliver Starr of BlogNation is living the mobile dream and has written a wonderful article about his quest to bring Web 2.0 to his mobile lifestyle. He has used a Nokia N800 as the cornerstone in his mobile desktop:
It’s a sweet setup and I can attest to how productive this rig can be due to my own never-ending efforts to build the perfect mobile desktop. I dug around and found some photos of mobile desktops I have used to build my virtual cubicles.
This desktop dates back to 2004 and while it didn’t use Web 2.0 (it didn’t exist then) I’d put this against any portable rig today.
This is my own N800 mobile desktop using the better Bluetooth keyboard.
This is my mobile desktop using the Samsung Q1 SSD. A little bigger but very capable.
