Parallels Desktop is my favorite way to run Windows on my MacBook Pro and I see on MacMinute today that version 3.1 has been released. The update adds user profiles and better Coherence mode that includes Expose and transparent windows support among other improvements. Kevin recently pitted Parallels against its main competitor VMWare Fusion and found Parallels gave the better experience for him. Speaking of aggressive competition between the two products, I couldn’t help but be amused at the ad running in the middle of the MacMinute Parallels post. Now that’s aggressive marketing!
