I attended the BarCamp Houston last week and besides having a lot of fun and meeting a bunch of people I was also interviewed briefly by Mike McGuff, a producer for the local ABC affiliate channel 13. It was the first time I got to meet Mike in person and it was fun being on video with him. What made this interview even cooler was the camera that Mike was using, the Flip Video. The Flip is a very small iPod-like camera that has non-removable memory and shoots video in AVI format. You get the video off the camera via the USB connector that flips out of the camera, thus letting you connect the camera directly to the PC. It’s really cool and as you can see very useful for impromptu video sessions like this.
