Casual games publisher Alawar Entertainment has sold a minority stake of itself to fellow Russian firm Finam Investment Holding. Terms were not disclosed. Alawar was formed in 1999 and now has 150 gaming titles. The company plans to use the proceeds from the sale to buy additional game developers, which it believes is key to its ambition to become one of the top five global game publishers. In the past year, Alawar acquired two developers, DreamDale and Stargaze. Release
