I’m about to get my CTU ringtone back on the iPhone and this time, I won’t need to use my Mac to do it thanks to GearLive. They’ve got a great video tutorial on how to use the newest iPhone modification app called iBrickr. What’s nice about iBrickr is that it runs on Windows, which I prefer since I sync my iPhone with my UMPC running Windows Vista. Nate True’s iBrickr takes the same approach as iFuntastic on the Mac: it "jailbreaks" your iPhone, lets you add ringtones or applications and then throws the iPhone back in "jail". iTunes is none the wiser and you get your customizations…until the next iPhone update, that is. Oops, gotta run: CTU is calling on a Priority One channel.
