We’d mentioned earlier that Sequoia Capital India is about to close a $280 million fund, and now here’s the announcement, via BS: the Sequoia Capital India III fund is around $300 Million, and will focus on high growth, early stage companies. So far, Sequoia Capital India has invested in 35 companies, including:
Applabs, Bharti Telesoft, Cafe Coffee Day, FirstSource, GlobalLogic, IDEA Cellular, Indecomm, marketRx and SKS Microfinance. More here.
