Online gaming firm Spill Group, based in the Netherlands, has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Van den Ende & Deitmers, the VC firm of Endemol founder Joop van den Ende, and as a result, sold a “significant minority stake”. The gaming group operates 24 game portals in 17 countries worldwide. Launched in 2005, the portals generate around 40 million unique visitors per month, it said. (My read: more of a gaming traffic lead gen business than actual end destinations in themselves). Also, the company has bought Hispanic game traffic domain Juegos.com. Details here.
