Jadoo Power, the largest supplier of fuel cells for portable electronics and military power applications, just raised another round of funding, a spokesperson from Velocity Venture Capital told us. Investors in the round included Jadoo newcomer Velocity Venture Capital, based in Sacramento, Calif. The amount was not disclosed.

In November, Folsom, Calif.-based Jadoo received $2.4 million via the Military 2007 Defense Appropriations Bill. In 2005, Jadoo raised $11 million in a second round of funding, led by Mohr Davidow Ventures, Venrock Associates and strategic partner Sinclair Ventures. Jadoo’s closest competitor in the fuel cell market is Protonex, which is based in Southborough, Mass. We’ll update the story when we learn more.
