E-mail Consolidation: Datran Buys Contexual Network Chintano; One-to-One Buys IonMX

Couple of e-mail marketing related acquisitions:

— Email marketing company Datran Media has acquired contextual and behavioral ad serving firm Chintano for an undisclosed amount. Datran’s goal is open up its platform to all online display advertisers and publishers, not just those interested in its email channel. EO.com was launched in April as a real-time market exchange designed to enable advertisers to bid for cost-per-acquisition media. Release

— Digital marketing holding company One-to-One Interactive has acquired IonMX, a Rhode Island-based e-mail marketing solutions provider. The terms of the sale were not disclosed. The IonMX brand was formerly known as Bluestreak. This deal marks the largest in a string of One to One acquisitions and also comes at the heels of ad holding company Aegis Group
