Industry Moves Roundup: Connected Venture COO; Verisign VP; MyStrands VP

– Connected Ventures, the parent company of CollegeHumor.com, Vimeo.com, BustedTees.com and Defunker.com, and a unit of of IAC (Nasdaq: IACI), ha appointed Moshe Koyfman as COO. Koyfman previously served as VP of Programming for IAC and was instrumental in its August 2006 acquisition of Connected Ventures. In his new role as COO, Moshe will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning, business development, marketing, advertising sales and finance across the Connected Ventures brands as well as sourcing potential expansion opportunities. Koyfman will report to Josh
Abramson, President and co-founder of Connected Ventures.

MyStrands, the music community service and desktop app, has appointed two new SVPs: Gary Geller will be the new SVP of sales and marketing, and Scott Lehr will be the new SVP of strategy and business development. Both were previously at Muze, as VPs. MyStrands recently closed $25 million in funding.

— Verisign has appointed Stephen Condon as its new VP of Worldwide Marketing, focused on the media & entertainment vertical. He joins from Entriq, where he was the VP of marketing.
