A DVB-H service will be trialed in Dubai, UAE. It will be set up by T-Systems subsidiary Media&Broadcast and will run 12 TV channels to the end of 2007, including the three TV broadcasting stations according to Business Intelligence. The network is due to be expanded in 2008. It seems the Middle East is settling on the DVB-H standard…although operator Etisalat has a 3G TV service in the UAE.
