Y’know how it goes, right? Operators race to become the first to launch a particular service, and they all end up launching similar products not willing to be left out. Spice Telecom has joined forces with My FM, the Bhaskar Group’s radio venture to launch Spice MyFM, reports Indiantelevision. Apart from listening to music, the service allows subscirbers to create playlists. No comments on pricing of the service, though.
Sister concern Spice Mobile has also launched two dual mode handset which allows users to have two SIM cards – one which allows a GSM and CDMA connection to be active simultaneously, and the other which allows two GSM connections. The idea, and this makes sense, is to make things easy for users who carry two handsets (one for work, one for personal use). [release]
Update: Now Tata Indicom has also launched a dual mode handset.
