Boy, will Matt Miller be happy since he just traded a Nokia E61i for an HTC TyTN. Mobility Site indicates that the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade is now available for the TyTN. You will need to register for an HTC eClub account if you’re not already a card-carrying member, but after that, the upgrade is all yours. Make sure you back up your device data and have the battery fully charged before attempting to upgrade the ROM; this is solid advice for any mobile device upgrade so you don’t end up with a "brick" as we say.
As I’ve indicated before, I’ve found Windows Mobile 6 much more usable and stable over Windows Mobile 5 on my Dash. Best part of Windows Mobile 6 (or WinMo 5 with the most recent feature pack) for me is the simple Internet Sharing function that lets you use your device as a modem for a notebook or UMPC.
