The Economic Times reports that Videsh Sanchar Nigam (VSNL) shareholders on Thursday gave a green signal to the telecom company’s plans of hiving off its retail Internet business into a subsidiary. VSNL is hoping this move will simplify the holding structure and will allow for possible unlocking of value in future.
