Vidmetrix Gets Its Upload On

Aiming to be a one stop-shopping experience for viral marketers, Vidmetrix, part of San Diego-based Holt Labs, is continuing to build its suite of tools for tracking and analyzing videos across 51 video distribution sites, and, as of later today, uploading them as well.

Vidmextrix New Logo
Aside from a snazzy new logo Vidmetrix is adding a multiplatform uploader. Through one upload process Vidmetrix will submit a video to your accounts on YouTube, Myspace, Metacafe, Google, Yahoo, Revver, and Veoh (just 7 of the 51 sites the company track, but still). Vidmetrix was one of the first in the arena of video metrics, but will now be competing with other mass-uploaders from Hey!Spread and Veoh.

Holt Labs’ managing director Bri Holts tells us the Vidmetrix upload service streamlines the mess of logins and account management that plagues these sorts of uploaders and that the company’s final product is “really, really, really reliable.” We’ll see about that — but any improvements for video creators trying to get seen across multiple sites are heartily welcomed.
