India added 7.34 million subscribers during June, taking the total number of wireless (GSM, CDMA and WLL) subscribers to 185.13 million, as per a TRAI press release (pdf) which also has stats for each operator. The COAI has details of GSM subscribers here, while their friends at AUSPI have a pdf of the CDMA statistics for download here.

Note: we’ve used the figures from AUSPI, but there are differences between those and the numbers for CDMA operators in the TRAI press release. I think it’s about time there was some standardization in reporting numbers.
Total broadband connections (256kbps or more) at June end were 2.52 million, a stupendous increase of 60,000 connections for the month of June.
