Widget developer and syndicator Clearspring Technologies has received an additional $10 million in funding, TechJournalSouth reported. The report cited a regulatory filing that said the $10 million was provided by a single, unidentified investor. In early March, the company raised $5.5 million second round from a group of investors that included AOL founders Steve Case and Ted Leonsis, and Mark Jung, the former COO of Fox Interactive Media. Before that, the Arlington, VA-based firm raised a $2 million first round from Novak Biddle Venture Partners and a limited group of strategic investors. The company declined to comment on this current financing.
