There must be some extra 800 x 480 touchscreens lying around now that Samsung went to the 1024 x 600 res on the Q1 Ultra. Adlink might have picked up some of those lower res panels because that’s what they’re using for their NuPPC-0701T. What’s "Nu" here is using this UMPC-like computer rig for kiosks and industrial use: it’s essentially a fanless computer that can be embedded into a factory or kiosk wall. Actually, I could see this used for home automation applications.
Although configurable for options, the base NuPPC-0701T runs on a 1 GHz Celeron with up to 512 MB of RAM, offers three USB ports, a CF slot and Ethernet port.
